i think i have a boost leak. 91 tsi i just bought today

also 12 psi is stock on a 14b turbo witch is in the 1g 5 speeds 8 psi on the 13b witch was on the auto 1gs and 12 psi on the t25 witch is on the 2gs and a 14 b should hit full boost around 2800 to 3000 rpms what gauges do you have

When i had a turbo Svo mustang, I used metal fish tank valve to bleed off air to the waste gate. I was running at 23 psi. Sounds like you have more issues that just boost. Do you have a fuel/air gauge? If not make it your first purchase.

and the factory boost gauge is worthless do not go buy it at all mine has been converted to a knock gauge
