gredysra Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 i have a red top optima under hood with the big 3 and stock alt thts putting out 14.3. i just put all 1/0 in car if 1 pos and 1 neg to back with 2 xs power d3100 on a dc pai2000.1. it started with my stinger voltmeter reading 13.2 at amp and i thought that was weird so i voltmeter on the termianls on amp and its says 12.4 and my batts just sitting are 12.2 but my optima up front running is reading 13.8 so im wondering if i should do 1 run off the alt to back or other 1 back off the red top or something else?
