D-train-13k
Holy shit people. D-train, lets make this easy. What speakers are you trying to cross? lol ive got 3 sets of midbass drivers going in on each door. two sets of mp8's from crescendo and a set of dayton 6's and two sets of super tweeters. one set from crescendo that have the 5.5khz inline bass blocker and then the aq super tweeters. i just need more power and was going to look into two 200.2 but i saw the xover was the same as the 120.4 so i just asked about the xover. haha Quote The IrishmanCheck out my build hereXL 4th order wall build logIn Progress:alpine cda HU4th order Bandpass2xl 15's1- ab 400.1 (gonna be two hopefully)4- Crescendo 8's2- xts crecendo supertweeters 2 sq super tweetsMb quart 4.125Mechman 270a alt1- xs D27003- xs XP3000 4- odessey pc1700seller feed back threadhttp://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/136418-d-train-13k/
Ray
Slope cut is-3db at that point. That is what the standard is for a xoverpoint. Set a xover at 100hz, it is -3db at 100hz If its a 18db per octave, than at 50hz and its 18db lower. At 25hzand 400hz its 36db down. D-train-13k
okay. and ray while your here. what should i set my Low pass to.. i think im set at 80hz area i cant remember off the top of my head. all i want is hammering lows. i dont play around with much over 60 hz. unless im listening to rock and country. as well as a good setting for my mids. ?
