My question is this, On the stickied topic in here Wire/Fuse Guide, 1/0 awg wire is rated for 3500watts while 2awg is 2200. I will be running a T1500.1bdCP and a T600.4. So If I use this wire and do my Big 3, and 2 Runs to the back now would that be fine for further upgrades to amps aslong as I dont exceed a certain medium between 2200 and 3500? Edit: Forgot, Want to know this so I should know if I can take expensive ass 1/0AWG wire off my parts list. This 1/0Awg wire has lots of small strands, great insulation, and is OFC. 01ExSport Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 Well, for me it seems a little iffy. Put a 200A fuse inline and if it blows, just add another run. On another note, pertaining to the watt chart, I'd most certainly double up runs if running 3500 o.O

getlocivic Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 welding cable is the best welding cable has a higher amperage range than standard "car audio wire".. i got welding wire from my stepdad last year "flex o prene" 1/0.. his welder does like 375 amps on his normal setting and the wire never got real warm.. and welding wire is PURE ofc..because a stick or arc welder wont work with anything but ofc
