RockFord4lyfe
what i would like to know is if it can still be used in that condition, because i am living in the caribbean, and warranty, because of shipping costs, would most likely be out of the question... it is still sitting @ 12.71 V... car has been of since last night. Can it still be used with the swelling?

KronicHigh
Ohh that's not good at all. I hope you hear back from XS or wherever you purchased it from soon! EDIT: I would find someplace safe to put that in case it pops or something. Maybe in a rubber tub with nothing around it (not fully sealed in the rubber tub). Shed, garage, or under a porch. tacomaguy1
they do this from heat...yes the d series can be used under the hood, but a little batt like that needs some protection. The heat wrap made for batteries works good. My d975 did the same thing (not as bad) Quote Team Flex Issues
tacomaguy1
How close to the engine or radiator is your battery? Quote Team Flex Issues
