Something like an AR or AK? What do you suggest? Looking to spend around $1000. You can do a lot of ar-15s in that range as well. look into a colt 6920. It will be right around that 1000 mark. other good brands that you can do for that much are stag rock river arms spikes tactical bravo company usa anything from them should do you well. Of course there are other companies as well. be warned. Once you have an ar you will want two. you will want to change all kinds of stuff. especially after you do one thing to it and realize how easy they are to work on. I bought my first one and im building my second.
