Just wondering if anyone has had experience with FedEx damage claims and the time they usually take.

LAST piece of equipment showed up (D3100) damaged and they just picked it up earlier today. Shouldn't be denied from improper packaging as it came new straight from XS.

Just seeing if I should wait it out. If it takes longer than 2 weeks or so, I'm buying a new one, and waiting to get re-paid whenever my claim goes through...hopefully.

Still pissed that everything else was fine, except the last piece. :angry2:

claims usually take a bit of time, mine with UPS took about a month, and then some to get the check in the mail.

That's hella lame man. Did you manage to snap a couple of pics for your records just in case? Hopefully they will remedy the situation in a timely manner for you.

Yep, as soon as I saw it I felt the need to.

I actually have another thread in the Mechman section with pictures.

Well, seems i'll be ringing XS about another 3100 in a week or so, then. Sucks because they're getting caught up filling orders, and might be out of stock until a bit later anyway, lol.
