Bolts for speaker connection question

I notice a lot of use guys use bolts kind of as speaker terminals on your boxes. My question is if I can find copper bolts will they make a difference in the amount of current or flow or current? If I cant find copper bolts however is there a type of material other than typical zinc that would be best?

You could get brass bolts, but Ive honestly just always used the standard zinc ones. Works just fine for me so far, they meter about the same resistance as a standard speaker cup you would find on most manufactured boxes.

You will not notice a difference by using either one. Spend what you want.

buy whatevr loats your boat no "right or wrong" type of bolts

i use basic bolts u find at home depot.. i like to use a wingnut on the outside of the box.. makes switching ohm loads or disconnecting real fast

You can order T6061 Aluminum all thread from Grainger if you want. That would be about the best flow you are gonna get if its a big concern.

Uh no. Would you use steel wire in place of your OFC? Didn't think so...

Use aluminum bolts and wingnuts
