bassnerd Posted May 1, 2012 Report Posted May 1, 2012 You do better to tap the 30 terminal to a different constant other that the radio since the gm's are usually only 10 amps and if your using a digital harness for the radio it'll cause problems.

Gonna get the doors finished up this week to and off to the upholstery people for the ebony vinyl. Gonna get the grey suede on the a pillars to. Since I'm running six speakers in each door and some LEDs I'm gonna use Molex plugs. 15 pin for a quick disconnect. Don't wanna pull the speakers or undo the wires every time I wanna take the doors off. Also it eats up the wood in the speaker holes. I'm a big fan of things being clean even if people can't see them. Big over kill guy hear lol. What do you guys think about the Molex. Got it from the Mac Guyver of the site Meade himself. I think he did something similar in the blue joint. Anyway thanks again my peeps

I wanna make it so I can plug my truck into a wall outlet and play all day from it without my car being on. 1st is this even possible and 2nd how much trouble will it be and 3rd does this even make sense to do.
