My voltage is more stable, it's way louder to the ear and sounds better throughout the sub spectrum. My mids/highs are even more clear, I assume because the amp isn't fighting for power. Still lots of work to do on this build but this is all for now. I will try to do a video sometime this weekend. Tarball Posted November 26, 2013 Author Report Posted November 26, 2013 still havent taken a video but I do have a new HD camcorder I want to test out The subs/amp barely get warm to the touch unless I run full tilt for a long ass time riding out on a hot day. Broke my windshield on the way to Tae Kwon Do class tonight blasting Decaf. I'm kinda happy about it but pissed I have to fix the windshield now. There is a comp I want to go to in December [toys for tots] so I can get it metered then I will be pulling the engine out to fix what sounds like a rod knock or wrist pin rumbling. I'll post some vids and stuff of the comp - if i can get someone to record for me while i compete and maybe some demos then it will be back under the wrench for the winter. Termlab On Dash Sealed on music 30 second average - 144.4 Seal peak - 147.3 In the Kick Driver door open - 151.1 I'm out of town right now so the numbers are based on my memory - when i get back home I will update if there are any differences. There is definately room for improvement. I stll need to seal off from the bed of the truck and do some additional sound deadening on the inside. Also considering options on bracing the rear wall. I didn't build this to get the highest numbers on a meter but more to have a kick ass daily system on music that I can also have fun at the comps with. I have reached that goal. With that said, I'd love to see a 150 sealed on the dash peak out of it. Not sure how much I can gain from just sealing off though. Peak is around 38/39 hertz.
