ccmotox99
sounds like you had some bad clipping somewhere. I've never heard of your amp you had on them, but I don't think it had to much power for those little bugar kenwoods. My first system was 2 12" kenwoods on a KAC9105d and they did just fine...might look into getting a distortion detector. Or maybe you just have some bad wires somewhere or maybe hooked up the subs wrong.. -playing with different setups
Chris Hammer
That amps not gonna do 2000wrms at all...its like a AP clone or somthing..they look like the same board..and in the thread I opened up on it a few members commented on how that board is good up to 800w or 900w RMS..I can't remember... Not trying to burst your bubble... I'm going to run 4 of those same Kenwoods on 1000-1200w in my truck. Im all into budget builds that still sound good. Also I noticed you had some nasty looking wiring earlier in the thread but it looks like you have some updated stuff now.? I will have about 15ft of Knu KCA 4ga and some 1-2ft pieces with terminal ends on them...if you want it you can have it for the price of a USPS flat rate box. Just trying to help man. As for 2 woofers to work on that...I would try to find what you can to handle 400-500w RMS.. Chris Hammer
Even better link..cheaper buying a pair...you could wire 1ohm and probably perfect for the actual power that amp makes...especially on stock electrical... IBleedMusick
I have seen these VVME amps all over. They are from the same build house as Audiopipe amps. So its an Audiopipe in a different case. They put out some power but won't do close to rated the specs are 1500 @ 1 ohm. 2013 Dodge Charger Build Log 1996 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0Build Log 2005 Honda Civic LX Coupe Build Log SMD SUPER SELLER!!!!My Selling Feedback
