Fuck it stay with the 4.56's ! Nah for real 3.73s would be perfect. Love me some Nova's. I had a 1970 back in high school, would love to get another or a 66-67. My boy is trying to sell his 66 right now.

600 is plenty but wont support higher rpm.. i had a 850 on my 454 and was getting up the rpm quick and was very aggressive.. switched to a 750 and it hurt my top end it hurt it bad always bogged on me and seemed like it needed more fuel at wot.. i know its a street build but you will get the bug to floor it at times. holley recommends a 650 670 cfm for that build

I called Holley before I ordered. Was debating 600 or 650. They said 600.

RPM will top at 6000-6200

The only thing we reused was the block, forged GM crank, and forged GM rods. The crank and rods had never been touched, so they were perfectly fine turned .010/.010.

No pics of the bottom end. Don't know why I never took any.

Funny - as I think about it, the block, crank, rods, outer fenders, and the bumper are the only pieces that are not new on the car from the firewall forward.
