8ight Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 I'm looking to get a single beefy 15 (probably a planet audio big bang or used RF Power/Sundown). I need a new amp for no more than $200-225 to push it, I'll be wiring it down to 2 ohms and am looking to get at LEAST 1kw RMS to the sub in a ported box. I also have 6 mid/high drivers to push, don't know which ones just yet. But it will be 4x 5" full range drivers and 2x 4x6" full range drivers. I need an amp that will keep up with the sub for those and will pick build the mid/high speaker setup around the amp. I'm looking to spend around $125-150 for a new or used amp for those and I'm open to suggestions for those speakers as well. Probably going to spend around $200-350 for all of them. The sub will be in a custom built and tuned aero-ported box, if I have two things it's carpentry skills and an oscilloscope lol. What are your expert picks, guys? Only thing I've considered is Audiopipe. I'm gonna hate

I do have a vendors account with Audio America (52% off everything but wiring) but they only stock PowerBass and Infinity speakers, no amps. Other than that it's all home audio. If the Audiopipes get dirty turned up I can deal with it, to a reasonable extent, though. I'm gonna hate

I haven't ruled out the possibility of using a single amp but it would make wiring no fun. Of course if it's cheaper and just as good I'm all for it! I'm gonna hate
