stephensking Posted May 1, 2012 Report Share Posted May 1, 2012 Im thinking of getting/building (12's) for my trunk but i have no idea where to start. As in: should i buy a box with subwoofers from a shop? (if so which subwoofers + amp?!) should i make a box for the subwoofers and buy an amp? the thing is i have been watching meade and picked up a little but still i don't think i'm talented enough to build something. Plus, the thing is i don't know what to buy at all. Lets say i buy 2 (12') subwoofers in a box i still wouldn't know even what "amp" to buy with it or even how to set it up. please help with suggestions!!! If you aren't comfortable building a enclosure, skar audio has deals with every sub they make for a completely custom enclsoure for you. I really don't suggest you go to any shop and purchase anything because they will just try to convince you to buy the products they sell and its normaly not worth the price you'll pay. soundstream15 Posted May 1, 2012 Report Share Posted May 1, 2012 like everyone said on here look up skar audio, u can get 2 12s in a box for like 360? im not sure of the price but its in the 300$ rang witch is very cheap, that is the best way to go but id suggest reading around and asking question cuz that is what the site is for...
