Cardboardcat15 Posted May 2, 2012 Report Share Posted May 2, 2012 I just moved my car and when I turned off my engine, I noticed a very faint hissing/bubbling noise coming from my battery. I've read around but I'm not sure exactly what's causing it and if the battery is in any serious danger. My alternator will charge cold at 14.9-15.1 for a few minutes and fall to about 14.6 after driving. Am I over charging it with the alt? Or is it because it's a relatively new battery?
