Question about the DD-1.

First of all I would like to state that I pretty sure that 100% of this problem is user error. Im trying to find the max unclipped. Volume on my headunit and I was doing so through my rcas that go to my 4channel. First thing I did was set my levels flat(except for my hz and q if that matters). Next I plugged the RCA into the top of the dd-1. Next I put the included cd in the player in and turned up the volume but cannot get the signal or The 40hz detect like to come on intell I get it to the full volume. Can anyone help me realitively quickly please? Thank you in advance.

What headunit. And you should be using a 1khz tone for your mids and highs. If the high pass filter is set to anything give 40 it blocks a 40hz tone and won't work.

It's a kenwood ddx-318. I used the 40hz because I thought that's what the manual said to do first. I could be wrong. I'll check again.

You e.q. probably has settings like "Rock" "pop" "jazz" "vocal" yadayadada. find the one called 'off". use it then set try again

set it through the amp

go into your settings where your subwoofer control is

turn subwoofer level all the way up to 15

re-test

Irrelevant,, i just notice that you aren't getting signal or tone. Push the rca all the way into the dd1. you have real thick sleeves on your rca's where they plug in?

The sub level has to be 15 even if I'm testing through the 4channel rcas? It's at 0 right now if so.. Lol
