Got the rear quarters sprayed with spectrum, RCAs and remote wire hooked up at he rear of the deck, and got the q-logic kick panels fitted (not overly impressed with the fit, but it beats making my own), and started laying out the speaker wire. What' does a pile of trailblazer ss interior parts look like?
I am Poncho Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 im loving this build. beautiful install. im not going any where near as "discrete" as you are. lol but its awesome. i do like the door harness modification. may have to hit you up on that for sure, when i get around to doing the speakers in my TB. once you get it back together you should try and shoot some playing vids. maybe a distance test or something iunno lets see/ hear it in action... tuned in. dhall9 Posted April 27, 2013 Author Report Posted April 27, 2013 Captain's Log: The system is back and working flawlessly. Took the whole day, but I got everything back installed and running without a hitch. Even got the additional P200-2, Kickpanels, and 6.5 components installed. What does a set of kickpanels and a router make...a freaking mess. Now I just have to get everything back together. I think a good vacumming is in order first though. And yes, that is my sippy cup and cheerio snack cup in the last picture.

It's like now you see a bunch of wire and now you don't. With the added second skin sound deadening everything sounds a lot more solid. The added sound from the kick panels really takes it up a notch as well. I'm sure it's only going to get better when I deaden the doors and roof. But that's going to have to wait for few weeks. The honey do list needs some attention. Current setup: P200-2 driving tweeters in the dash P200-2 driving 6.5 components in the kick panels P400-4 driving 6.5 components in the front doors and 6.5 coaxs in the rear P400-2 driving 2 P2 10" subs. Power wire is all 1/0 to blocks and 4 gauge to amps XS D3400 battery 1/0 big 3 upgrade Sound Deadening Damplifier and luxury liner pro on the floor Spectrum sprayed in the inner rear quarter panels.
dhall9 Posted April 30, 2013 Author Report Posted April 30, 2013 Oh my goodness, it is so loud. I didn't the think the extra set of components would make that big of difference, but dang. Still need to tweak the gains a little, but man, it is loud, and it is clean.

Ask and you shall receive Passenger side Drivers side Overall they get the job done, but not overly impressed with the fitment out if the box. Qlogic needs to rework what ever mold they're using. Getting them to fit is not as easy as their directions say.
