Lost Legacy
Is more about the "off time" than it is the actull kick. Google slew rate Ahhh google, such a useful tool lol. Having a read now... Thanks Ray for suggesting class A/B, will pop into my local car audio shop in the next few days and have a chat to see what gear is easily accessible in the class A/B range that isn't crap quality. of course... will77530
just too make sure i understood that right slew rate is basically how quick the voltage can reach its maximum output? so how quick a speaker will respond
Ray
More like how fast an amplifier can recieve and process the signal. Its how "quick" the amp is. And what it does after the signal is gone. Ray
There are other things to looks at in a good amplifier The bandwidth of the output devices used. Higher bandwidth,or "frequency", the less end correction needed to be done. But most people only see power.. Power power power. Some also say you cant hear a difference which is bullshit. Good read on why some use the best output fets possible. http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/solid-state/53508-skinny-sanken-2sa1216-epitaxials.html 2 amplifiers for car use these. As far as i know, and i have searched. Audison hv venti - a 12-13000.00 amp And to my suprise the new phoenix gold elite multi channels. And i just got some.
