I've never heard of such a thing happening- is this just the curse of buying American? Because honestly I do not see why an almost $40K vehicle should be doing this, for any reason. If it was a bad miss the comp. would kick on the check engine light on. If you can find the product its called... BG 44K is the additive for the fuel. It works great! Her past Chrysler van (one bodystyle older) opened its own power liftgate while in motion... Instead of trying all kinds of additaves and what not figure out if its the coil or possibly a spark plug. It could be an injector but i doubt it. Or take it to the dealer if its under warranty, to get it diagnosed correctly. S15_Silvia Posted May 6, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 6, 2012 Dealer said it's a misfire. Not severe enough to throw a CEL or code. But it IS doing it. My Mom had them change the plugs, which were NGK (oddly enough) and it seems to have lessened some...but it's still not exactly smooth. I might give the injector cleaner additive a shot.
