Rockbrook
I went from 4 Sony Xplod 12's in a sealed box wired down to 2 ohms my amp does like 768 watts at 2ohm, i went to a single 15 inch AA Havoc Dual 1 ohm, in a 3.7-4. cube ported box, my amp is supposed to put out 1200 watts at 1ohm, Either way this one 15 completely murders those Sony Xplods in almost every way. just my .
KMS
I'm thinking about going with the SKAR deal with the two 12's in a box to replace this Sundown SA12 which is fine. Then buy a bigger amp in a few more weeks. I wonder if this is a good idea. baaudio
isnt 4 12's more cone area than 3 15s? One 12 is about 113 sq in, one 15 is about 178 sq in. So 452 vs 534. Pretty big difference, but if he can fit 3 15s, he could fit 6 12s. That would be a bit more cone and similar enclosure volume Quote Team NWSPL baaudio Build Log 2001 GMC Sierra walkthrough 4 Mechman Elite 370s, 10 AGM batteries, 3 Crossfire XS v2 18s, Crossfire 8k
JesseyMclame
Yeah I was also thinking of buying another two 12s. But I've had my four 12s for about a month and some change, there wouldn't be cancellation issues if 4 of the 12s were more worn in than the other 2?
