voxigenboy Posted May 8, 2012 Report Share Posted May 8, 2012 I bought a Kinetik hc600 recently and in the included paperwork it warns me not to overcharge it. i've never installed a second battery before & was just planning to hook it up near the subs amp in the rear going off of the +/- going to the amp. is it more of a process then that? for some reason the battery dudnt come with any instructions. I dont think you can overcharge the battery off of the alternator. They must be talking about using a battery charger because you will probably need to fully charge it before installing.
