On my new setup which will all be finished this weekend I've got 2 hdc3 18's running off a crescendo bc3500. It's all running off a 270 amp mechman alt and 2 runs of 0 gauge wire. I also have 2 xs power d3400's. My question is, would I be better off running one 3400 under the hood and one in the back or keep the factory battery under the hood and run both 3400's in the back. I currently still have the stock battery under the hood. Thanks for the input! poorfish88 Posted May 10, 2012 Report Share Posted May 10, 2012 If your stock battery isn't AGM I'd dump it, because it's harming your XS batts. AGM and Wet batteries shouldn't be mixed. The fuses I have are 300 amp. Is that ok or is it way too much fuse? Since 270 amps will be split between the two wires.
