I love the idea of the fans very innovative !!! I need to start working on a way to cool my amps in my trunk but trunk is all sealed so no air movement .... but you are giving me the muse to start working on it !!!

honestly, had those vents not been there, i would have probably bored some holes in the spare tire well.....i knew before i started this build that cooling would be important. Trunks get HOTT and Sacramento summers are no joke some times

Mississippi summers don't fool around either ... will have to look into cutting some holes and making vents.

And uhh..Is it ok.....if I uhhhh....steal that amp cooling system design u got there for my Benz...? If it even has them..? Which I doubt it does cuz its Soo old..

All the Benz I've worked on have had them.Most of them are in the lower panel or behind the shock/strut support brace.Getting to some of the models can be fun lol.From 86-97 did have them just not easy to get to some because of location.98 I don't remember much just that when Daimler-BenzAG merged with Chrysler corp they became a nightmare.

This is all I have on that car I only messed with the 560SEL one time and hope to never againg lol.

Hope this helps out sir.You will need to pull up the trunk lining and side lining.Follow the air ducts to find a good point to make a connection to make a connection.

i know i been less active online lately but thats because i spend my time working on this lately! It might not seem like a lot of work but it is!! The pics make it look to easy but this is a pain in the ass. Every move can either f##k your next or even the last move you just made up... All this stuff comes out in about 5 minutes so i can work on it and can go right back in. Wiring is soon and also, like i said, the side panels too. I need to make those removable to get to the tanks so i gotta figure something out for that. One day at a time is all i can do

Started the side panels today. I couldn't do those until i did the top piece first. It has a curve AND a bow to it so its more complex then it looks. The sides WILL have a window in them, probably with some mesh instead of plexi glass. I will back-light the NOS bottles so you can see them better. Right now, just getting the right shapes is the first mission.
