If you can't get 400 for it try and get like 3fiddy and pay the small difference grab an Audioque or soundquebed whatever the hell they are called now 2200 or if you have a few extra bucks 3500. But since your stepping up power to I'm guessing you want somewhere around 2000 rms are you beefing up your electrical?

Crescendo BC3500 and upgrade your electrical. You will be surprised after getting it all done properly

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

He ain't lying. Had my bc3500 with 2 batteries and a 270a, dropped to 14 on full tilt (starting at 14.7), not power hungry. And very very solid. Could play down to .35ohm (if you know what you are doing)

The site is still down, but they have an email and a number for contact.

How do the Japanese feel about bass?

You know that since 03/11/11

Progene? I just saw that stuff on CNN. They said it makes your junk shrink all up. lol.

im pretty sure the op wont even notice if it gets even smaller.

If you are upgrading from the 1800 make sure is at least 3000 plus rms to even notice a sound difference since going up to say a 2200rms amp will not give you a noticeable rise in bass sound you hear.

Around where i live you can sell the 1000 JL all day for 350-400

Settle for 350 maybe even 325 to speed up the process on getting a stronger amplifier.
