But since your stepping up power to I'm guessing you want somewhere around 2000 rms are you beefing up your electrical? Had my bc3500 with 2 batteries and a 270a, dropped to 14 on full tilt (starting at 14.7), not power hungry. And very very solid. teamace24 Posted May 12, 2012 Report Share Posted May 12, 2012 If you are upgrading from the 1800 make sure is at least 3000 plus rms to even notice a sound difference since going up to say a 2200rms amp will not give you a noticeable rise in bass sound you hear.
