Torres Posted December 26, 2007 Report Share Posted December 26, 2007 ok, so i'm rebuilding a computer and all...gonna be an intel quad core, 3 gigs ram, yadda yadda yadda. what i wanna know, is what's a pretty good 3d card to match this setup for about $200? or $300 MAX. or is there no such thing in this price range? i dno if i can justify spending 500 dollars on an accelerator card. i'm sure there's others that'll give me some pretty close results. i hope anyways. the ones i've looked at are nVIDIA 8800GTX and nVIDIA 8600GT. i've seen some people talk about others but have been mixed reviews. like the GTS cards i think? so i'd just like to narrow it down now since i can focus on my PC build till i add more woofers. i'd like a 768MB card if i can, but a 512 one will suffice.
