White Lightning
I'm thinking maybe you could go to a junk yard and get you a 8" driver bracket kit for your front doors and make a simple "bolt in" swap before you tear into those door pannels for a pair of 6.5s ... make sure you deaden the shit out of those doors for maximum driver response ... stipek
I'm looking for good sounding music. Hereing every note with good balance not knowing where the sound is coming from. Don't think I will go with 8's....just keep the 6.5's. Mainly wondering if putting both sets in front will be like night and day rather than 1 in front and 1 in rear. Or if put on the rta, eq properly and mix correctly with fader, the end effect will be about the same either way. Don't have a separare eq as of now...just the adjustable 7 band on the HU which I think is pretty decent. Don't roll your eyes....but what is running active? stipek
was hoping to keep it simple, but to get the best is never easy. If 2 sets in front....run those off the 4 ch amp and run the rear coax off the HU? would it be bad to just put the Sonya's that are in the front right now in the back then? RooTxBeeR
i dunno about you guys but i dont remember going to any concert and sitting with my back to the stage. That is soooo Irrelevant to what is being talked about lool. Look, if you want the sound to sound like its coming from all around you, just put a comp set in the back, or even just a coaxial. I have a honda civic hatch, and I can not stand it right now, just listening to music from my front set of 6.5's. Sounds like crap just them, now if I had my 6x9's atleast in the back, it would sound soooo much better.
