For a 12" i build .5 cu ft larger than the sub company suggests, ported box, be sure your vent mach is around .04-.05, don't cheat the box, build it as strong as possible, with proper bracing that will not disrupt moving soundwaves. If you want to burp tones find the hz your car best responds to. If you want music and really loud, a 34- 36hz tune seems to do the job. just a random 3am suggestion. Quote
