I know it's not a real "fix" bit it will at least let you see and choose what you want to play. On the headunit, you can choose an option that lets you use the iPod as a control. I forget exactly what it's called but it let's you use the iPod to choose your music through the music app on the iPod.

Edit-I think it's called "iPod control" in the settings. Just turn it on.

Correct. There's a big button to turn it on. Press and hold for 2 seconds or so I think

Shoot I don't remember holding a button down. I accessed it through the settings iirc, but there might be a button to access it easier.

im aware of the ipod control feature, but i just simply liked the ablility to control it from the h/u. i just put it on shuffle and changed the song whenever with the remote. now i gotta take my eyes off the road and go to the ipod to change it...

Yea it sucks none the less...just thought I'd throw it out there. Lol

Have you tried a hard reset on the iPod? Or even a system restore?
