We're not talking about 3000 Watt subwoofers, or burp machines here... Obsidian recommends 2.5-3.75cu.ft. (net) so 5-7.5cuft. Net for the pair. They recommend somewhere between a 4"-6" aeroport per 15, but everyone here seems to think that's not enough port area. Subs up, port rear (make sure there's at least 6" between the port exit and the hatch). Maybe build it on the big side if you're only putting 1000rms to the pair. And you should be good!
