What Can I Do With This Room?

I want to wall my 98 Malibu. An absolutely square box would be 40x38x32", which roughly comes out to 24cuft of interior space with 1 inch thick wood. What can I do with it? I want to go with 4 15s, and I'm kinda stuck between trying to attempt a 4th order, which I've been told to stay away from with my first wall build, and a ported box, which I've never build either.

I had an Idea for a fourth order with 8 15s, but the subs would only be seeing 1.5cuft a piece, and the ported section of the box would only be 15cuft. It would consist of two sealed boxes firing towards each other with the ported box in the middle. The sealed sides come out to 10x38x32

I didn't get to the ported part yet. Is this even enough space? If not, I'd still like to eventually shoot for one with 4 15s, 2 on each side instead of four. I'm also fine with trying a ported wall first to see what I'm getting into. I'm new, so bear with me.

with just a quick look ay what you got, 16net, after porting

so 4x 15 should easy fit

even with a 2 common wall port your still 15-15.5net depending on tune

I've been meaning to mess around with the Torres calculator. So with the box built like that, lets say I out the port at the top, the top and the two sides would make up three sides of the port?

Yes, if the port runs the entire width of the box then you will have 3 common port walls the top being one, and the 2 sides being the other 2.
