logspace
I let them install it. I took them like an hour to do it, so I'm thinking that they rushed through it. I was planning on doing the big 3 when I get back home in a few days.

Jessica
Am I seeing things or is the boot and some sort of rubber grommet UNDER the ground wire? And is there even a terminal on the wire or did they just smash bare wire down under the screw? Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. SQMonte
My friend recently bought an Orion HCCA 15" sub and Orion amp, and let me borrow his old setup until I buy mine in a week or so. It was a Sony Xplod 12" with a pioneer amp rated at 760 watt max. I had it installed in my 2005 altima, and the inline fuse kept blowing, and the tech guys kept putting stronger fuses in. Eventually the power wire (4 gauge) MELTED into.My thought is that you should take it back to where you had it installed and speak to a manager. If they fused the wire with a higher amperage rating than the wire is meant to carry then they put you in a bad situation and helped cause this mess. They should have troubleshot the reason the fuses kept blowing instead of doing a hackjob fix by just increasing the fuse rating until it stopped popping. Unless you told them you couldn't afford them to do the troubleshooting Alpine CDA-117...Memphis 16-X03 CDT Audio SQA-4100...SEAS Prestige H1396...Crescendo MP-6 Soundstream Rubicon 1.2500d...Digital Designs 3512f
