wmrcs
I'm going to be getting a new amp in the next few weeks and want to know what I need at a minimum to support ~2-2.2k rms. I am looking at the BC2000D and AQ2200D. Currently all I have is the big 3 done in 1/0 OFC. I know I will need at least one battery, but instead of just saying add another bat can you give me a size or something? E34 540iT/
Socky
the owners manual said like 180 amps for the aq, my brother ran the aq 2200 with just stock battery and a hc800 never dropped below 13.1, then changed the hc800 to a stinger 2150, now he doesnt drop below 13.8. Now he added 2 more interstate agm and doesnt drop below 14.4, all are while driving. Stock alt, and big 3. So i would say maybe a 3400d in the rear and you should be fine. Trickle charge it when you arent driving. wmrcs
I'm planning on getting an XS Power bat or Juice Box battery. Is it bad to have a 12v battery under the hood and a 14v in the back? E34 540iT/
wmrcs
Can I get some more input? What are you guys using that have ~2k rms? E34 540iT/
Sergeant_Skyrim
If you're putting a battery in the back and wanna go with XS I'd suggest the XP3000. Haven't put mine in yet, but I was told by one of the Mechman guys at their SBN booth that with the 235a alt I'm getting I should be fine with my BRZ2100.1D.
