Redcorn245
hey guys, just trying to figure out where to get parts to piece together either a 15 or an 18 inch sub, i want to build it from the ground up. motor, basket, cone and everything else lol. if you have any ideas where to order the parts or if its even worth it over buying a prefab from ab, fi, dd, aq, or whoever else sells nasty ass subs...... hdorre
PSI, CACO, SMD Classifieds, etc Why wouldn't you just buy a mass produced sub? You get a warranty, customer support, and a guarantee that they will perform well. If the parts dont actually work well together, the sub could fail or sound horrible. Sure, he could still say "I built this MYSELF." However, I wouldnt be too proud of building a POS. Op, if you want to build a custom sub, please do some research. Good luck Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

I just want to know who or where to get the parts from Forums have attitude and character. You have to accept that or just email someone directly to get straight answers. For 1 off parts at low quantity, check out fixmyspeaker.com Otherwise you can search around and gather a hodge podge of parts for classifieds sections.
