Just depends on the type of people that live in that town and how much they get involved in the legal process. Someone told me that they got a ticket for loud music, they went to court, guys in front of him had tickets for running red lights, speeding, etc... and fines were $20, $60, $100, judge got to him and gave him a tongue lashing for having a loud stereo and fined him $300. There is definitely something lopsided when doing something potentially lethal like running a red light is a less offense than loud music. I agree, and I believe texting while driving in my state, is only a $150 fine first offense. Look how many people die each year from that alone? I'd say the phones a little more distracting than the radio, no?

But that was not my goal, too much important things needed to be said to cut out simply for short attention spans.
