THEKINGsBACK Posted January 27, 2013 Report Posted January 27, 2013 After mods what's ur horsepower lookin like... he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

I know it's a hotrod not a gas lover just curious if you know with that motor. 400 hp to the wheels with bolt on is nice. Do you still have to take into account the drive train hp loss like old school. I'm not a fan of the newer stangs but your car is one of the few I like. On the freeway at 75-80, I get 23ish mpg. I don't see it changing much with the upcoming mods. The powerband is real narrow, and above 3k rpm, that doesn't help in the city. Nate Futuristic Posted January 27, 2013 Report Posted January 27, 2013 Though I hope you have better luck with AQ over the other companies this time, 2 HDC4 12's on 2 AQ 3500's should be nuts. x2 Plus AMI Customs and I can speak for their cs. He had a few 6.5s (iirc) damaged in shipping. He contacted them about it. No questions asked they shipped him some new ones. I didn't receive part of my package, contacted them and they shipped it out no questions asked. Granted it's not a expensive amplifier, but their cs contacted me within 12 hours I think it was. Edit: grammar I had other issues with them that are yet still pending from black Friday... I haven't heard from them in about a week... down rpping vanderbilt. 30 miles from victoria. i own the 3rd loudest setup here out of 3. but i did put together all 3 setups ^^ Cant wait to swalllow Ghost's babies

Not bad with what has been done so far. Considering my last real car was a 76 Malibu classic with a 502 big block with dual 750 Holley's. Will you be tweaking on the powerband or just leave it. Thanks for telling me. The differance from current cars and oldschool is interesting lol. To bad your not closer this direction I'd like to see this thing up close when it's done.
