I am trying to sell my current amp to fund my amp/amps for my long drawn out process of getting a new build started in my Tahoe. Wont be anytime really soon but I am hoping to have at least the amp/amps and subs by the end of the summer. I have 2 12's now and looking to upgrade to wither 4 12's or 2 15's in the next several months. Anyway I will post some specs below of my current set up and then what I'm looking to do with my next set up. Subs: (2) 12" Q Power Deluxe Series (Rated 700rms per sub). Just emailed Q Power yesterday to confirm they were as I kinda didn't believe but the company said they were so I guess I'll hopefully be testing that out in the next month. Amp: (1) Autotek SM2-1200 ( 300w x 2chan @4ohms / 600w x 2chan @ 2ohms/ 1200w x 1chan @ 4ohms bridged) Sounds good for what it is. For the upcoming setup I am looking for an amp that does a good 2k @ 1ohm. This will be feeding 4 12's (700rms/ea) or 2 15's (around 1000rms/ea). Subs will probably end up being more Q Power Deluxe subs unless I find a good deal on some used subs that are in good shape later this summer. For amps I am def looking to stay $300 and under and would like to have $250 as my max but i realize that may be hard to find an amp that does a good 2k rms @ 1ohm. It MUST have 1/0 power and ground inputs. Would love to have the option of a remote gain knob. Amp has to have the ability of being strapped because I am planning on strapping 2 together once the build is complete. Amps I'm looking at now are: (all these are from sonicelectronix) Power Acoustic BAMF 5500/1D MB Quart ONX 1.2000D Hifonics ZRX2000.1D Also I am up for buying used amps as long we can stay under $300 shipped. If anyone can recommend an amp for my situation (2k RMS for $300 and under) please post up.
