His is what it looked like once I mixed in the greens I was like fuck this I'm not eating this at all. Turns out it's what thickens the broth to a more of a cream Here's the finished product Took me close to four hours start to finish youth. I usually go even darker on the roux, until it almost looks like melted chocolate for more dark/rich flavor....but that looks like it turned out good! Now that you are seasoned in making roux you can easily whip up home made cheese sauces, gravy's, thickened soups, etc! Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. Quality takes time and dedication, but the end results more than pay for it. Been busy making cookies for the wife to bring to work again tomorrow: "Mini" dutch apple pie cookies....after making the crusts, filling, crumb topping....basically just mini apple pies in cookie form and it would have been a grip easier just to make a damn pie!!! Then the hot stuff and when I say hot I mean hot, not like the shit they sell at the grocery hot this is actually hot. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
