Johnny248
I really don't think it is clipping. It is never played hard, and before my DD-1 took a crap, I set the gains. Anyway, this amp claims to be 1000w lol. It is a Diesel NX-1000 2 channel amplifier. It is in the GF's car, and she doesn't play the stereo loud at all, and doesn't listen to anything harder than top 40. Why is it running DC through the coils? This amp has gone through... RF P1 RF P1 TC Sounds 12" Kicker Comp VR Duval 10" and now there is a "half blown" Type R in it...waiting to become fully blown... -= J-dUb =- ....no 12 step program can cure my car audio addiction... skittlesRgood
ill bet you the amp is fine. its going to be a user error. how did you set your gains? what is your bass boost set to? crossovers? loudness on? sub level? bass on HU? If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. RMac18
Sounds like clipping. Did you adjust anything after setting your gains with the dd1? Bass knob, sub setting on the deck or anything else at all that would cause it to send a clipped signal?
