I was gonna comment on this post from page 3, but you took the words out of my mouth later on. funny thing is today a friend with 4 15" L7s metered the same score as my 2 8s. LOL Its all in the build to be honest i did a 144.9 in 3k with 2 v2 8s so it really matters strickly on the install as the 8s can get loud Your exactly right, the install is what matters the most. Your friend with the 4 15" L7's was doing something wrong, believe that. I did a 148 flat with 3 L5 12's, and that was a musical box, tuned to 32 hz, and one of the three subs had a burnt coil. It was over a 50 all day with all three good subs. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Kicker lover. I'm just not a hater either. I think that most subs are really similar, the install is what really matters. I will give you a free lesson, if it starts to get stinky in your car when you have your bass up, that doesnt mean that you should just turn it up louder and hope it goes away. I'm 10 and must not know anything about audio I dont old you actually are but I do agree that you don't know anything about audio.
