Torres Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 nightshade definitely knows what he's talking about. he's been MIA for a while, but he's no noob. the port looks really good there. not sure how often you plan on taking out your box, but wing nuts on the last set of wires (that go from the amp to the box) might prove useful. but....seeing how you're as into car audio as you are...i wouldn't doubt you carry a toolbox in your car, so grabbing a ratchet might be just as easy and twostrokeking....each angle is just a 45º cut

Torres Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 because the angles add up to 360. picture doing a square port, and you'd need to find the angles to make the square. divide 360 by 4, and you get 90. each angle is 90 degrees (obviously) and all 4 add up to 360.
rogue Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 A full circle is 360 degrees and any 2D shape will always add up to 360 such as the square like Torres suggested. You simply divide 360 by how many points the shape has to get your angle (this is assuming it is a symmetric shape). Get yourself a protractor, it should help with getting an understanding of how angles work and help find unknown angles you need to know.
