diatribe Posted June 11, 2012 Report Share Posted June 11, 2012 Do the speakers come with any kind of passive crossover. If not you are going to need a 4 channel amp and wire each speaker to a channel. 8 Ohm speaker will see approximately 1/2 of the rated 4 Ohm wattage. In this case you will need to adjust the levels appropriately so your tweeters don't overpower your sound. In fact you may want to get 2 amplifiers. One for the tweeter rated around 50 per channel and one for the woofers rated around 100-150 per channel. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
