mikeg321
Those special yellow tops that say "XS Power" on the side. This. XS Power is the best! Kinetik is decent too and a little more affordable. You could also check out the Deka intimidator series. I'll get you some links There are also several name brands you may be surprised to find out are actually Deka Intimidators, just rebranded. Actually I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if someone told me kinetik, stinger, juice box, shruriken, ect were rebranded intimidators Op I'm working on those links if you want them Quote 4 fully loaded Fi sp4 15's 2 Crescendo bc5500s Crescendo c1100.4 6 focal mids Vifa tweets 5 XS Power d3100's Pioneer avh-p4200dvd All crammed into a mustang. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/150569-mikeg321s-fi-nendo-mustang-getting-walled-videos-page-4/

CHEVY4X4BLAZER
People DO use yellow tops. I believe that It's more of a budget battery. Just use google search with "yellow top vs _____"
mikeg321
People do use them. Usually when they have a hook up and can get them cheap as hell. There good batteries, I used one before for my first couple systems and there great BUT there are better batteries out there that are more suited to our car audio needs. CleanSierra
How many systems have you installed? The reason I ask is because 2500 watts is a lot for someone starting out. It's a lot of pull on a stock alternator, regardless of battery. What amp do you plan on doing this with? Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. mikeg321
Your going to want to get the largest you can fit in the stock location and the largest you can afford to go in the trunk. Lbox88
I'll be nice this time and tell you guys what I've seen as far as rebranded batts Superstart AGM (Deka intimidator) NGT Xtreme diehard gold AGM Duralast platinum AGM Diehard platinum AGM (rebadged odyssey) I can't be sure on all of them as I have not tested all, but I have a diehard gold AGM group 47 in front with a kinetic 2400 in back with a stock 160A alt and 2 runs of 1/0 and I do ok. Drop to 14.2 usually at idle from 14.6v. Quote UBL | Build Log
