NightmareImpala
Amps...... DC pai 3000.1 (x2) Subs....... (2) 15" fi btl's (fully loaded) Was running amps strapped @ 2ohm and now I wanna run them seperately ( 1 to each woofer ) Can I still use only one knob safely if I use some sort of phone cable splitter?? I dunno, but I would just get a PAC knob and split the RCA signal. RooTxBeeR
Yup, run splitters off the RCA line from the PAC LC-1 to the amp, then make sure the amps are gain matched so one coil isn't getting more than the other. CJ18
RCA from sub output on head unit will go into the input on the LC1. RCA will now run from the LC1 output to the input RCAs on AMP 1, then run a set of RCAs from the output RCA on amp 1 to the input on AMP 2. Now gain match your amps and you are good to go. NightmareImpala
Thanks guys.......dont matter now cuz both amps are fried :-( (not related to the remote gain knob either lol) not sure what did it yet but both the power supply on both amps are smoked unfortunately. But on the bright side I guess I can rebuild now. Quote TEAM DISTANT THUNDER
