However, the 94-98 Grand Cherokees with rear discs are a blessing. You can swap over the setup onto your Cherokee with just a little fabricating. SmallTruk Posted June 13, 2012 Report Share Posted June 13, 2012 Mechanically they do have a lot of the same parts, especially if both have the 4.0 I personally always liked the Cherokee's, especially the Sport package that has no chrome. I have a thing for boxy, wagon type vehicles. Was never a fan of the Grand Cherokee though, every one I drove always felt sloppy on the road.
