Looks good. I run the same amp. You should really put a fuse between your 4ga power and your 8ga power to the amp.

yea i love that amp!! good eye bro...yea i think i have the fuse im just slackin and havent put it in yet :)

Honestly...

I would clean it up a lot.

1:Build an amp rack/cover to hide the wires after I routed them better and zip tied em up.

2:Hide the dist block and as mentioned add a fuse.

3:Upgrade the speaker wire going to the subs and re-rout it NOT through the ports.

4:Personally I'd build a different looking/shaped box cuz until you said you guys built that one I was thinkin it was pre fab. It has the standard slanted front-face, just turned backwards.

5:Maybe just try re-covering it and take more time doing the edges where the material meets.

Other than that I like the sub choice, Eclipse deck FTW, and that amp is fine although I'm sure you won't get a lotta love round here (SMD) just cuz these fellas are big on lottsa juice. I wouldnt take it too personal.

If it's really in the 140-145db range on a TL thats awsome for 2 12's but IMO it just reinforces my beliefe that those speakers are worth every penny...and I can't wait to install the 4 of em I have sittin in my closet for next summer.

Nice stuff....and what about the mids?

lol that would be a big ass prefabed box. yeah this was our first attemt at putting felt on a box. paint sounds a lot easier. and i have already got some plans for an amp rack/hidden wires. its all waiting till summer though, it fckin cold. imma be posting my build with 4 12's in the back of my celica soon, get the subs today sometime (right now its almost 1AM, in a while lol.) thanks for any and all comments of the build, we do it to have fun and be louder then everyone else running best buy thousand dollar setups. prefab SUCKS!

Well I'm not sure..and I guess I'm not the only one that doesn't get what you're asking.

T o "improve" the current setup, you got a lot of feedback.

The only other options realy lie in re-building or swapping out gear for heavier equipment (i.e. 2 more subs or go with some Fi BTLs/RE SX's etc and some bigger amps).

Maybe upgrade electrical if it seems it needs to be or hasnt been done yet-Big 3, upgraded battery, and/or Iraggi HO alt.

Other than that if you really want more out of it-it's rebuild time.

Maybe throw a bass enhancement piece in there-I'd def recommend an AudioControl Epic-160 indash.

I have one and love it.
