DID THE BIG 3 UPGRADE!

i got my 0 awg wire in today nd terminals and i decided to do the install

i got done with 2/3 of the wires

+ to alt

- to engine ground

and after i tested it out with just the 2 wires i still get some dimming..i feel like i havent even made an improvement? :/

When you say engine ground, do you mean the frame? or the block?

Do all 3 wires to complete the circuit.

Bat (+) to Alt (+)

Bat (-) to Frame Ground (-)

Frame Ground (-) to Block or Alt (-)

about how many amps is your system pulling?

Dimming is due to a sudden change in voltage. You could be dropping from 14.4 to 13.8 (which is completely safe) and the lights would dim. Do you have a volt meter?

Haha technically you didnt do the big three if you only did 2 of them but ya remember the currents drawn from the batt to the alt if you dont do the negative to the frame and depending on how strong a system or draw you might still dim.
