ABK1126
I have 2 12" kicker comps powered by a kicker 400.1 i know its not a big setup or a high output system so i know not to expect much however is there a way that i could get a bit more impact with this set up? They are parallel wired to the 400.1 and it could bearly be heard outside the car. I would like it to be louder and felt more outside the car as in feel the bass Once again i know its not a big set up but is there a way with what i have? Maebros
there are a lot of factors that contribut to how loud it is but the box plays a big part in it so i would start there Quote HU: Pioneer AVH x5800BHS SP Amp: AQ 120.4 Front SP: Hertz Hsk 165 Rear SP: DD cxs 6.5 SW Amp: Crescendo BC2000d SW 2 DC level 3 12" Electrical: Stock alt for now XS D2400 XS D3400 Knukonceptz Kolossus Second skin damplifier On 8/8/2012 at 4:50 PM, Brandon15zzz said: I heard he actually graduated college with a 4.0 gpa. christamez80
D4 and D2 is the ohm load. Dual 4ohm or Dual 2ohm. Prefabs are a no no.
christamez80
Those subs need 2.25 cubic feet of airspace per sub in a ported box.
ABK1126
They are 4ohm subs wired parallel to make a 2 ohm load at the amp So with all you ppls experience having the 2 12's and kicker 400.1 and lets say i get a custom made box should they be pretty loud? Even outside the car? An should the bass be felt outside the car atleast a little? I understand i cant expect much from this set up but it should be decent atleast right? christamez80
It all depends on how u set up everything. I have 1-12 solo baric L7 in a custom box and man did it hit. Of course i had it in a suv so the type of vehicle makes a difference.
