metalhead2012
I just bought a new alpine head unit today and installed it. i noticed after i got it in that my woofers werent nearly as loud as they were with my factory deck. i changed nothing with the amp. They are getting very little power. Also with this new deck it does have a high pass filter and i have no idea how to get to it. What can i do to get this fixed? Joe X
In the damn manual!..what deck model it is?
412 CVX
I skimmed the manual and it's horribly written lol didn't find the HPF thing, but that's not really the main concern. excuse my friend, he's new here. i believe it's the CDE-HD137BT. I think it has something to do with the RCA's, because we've pretty much eliminated everything else. subwoofer level is turned all the way up on the deck. now the bass is barely audible with his JL 500 watt amp. not nearly as loud as it was before Quote Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid. sphinxbccp
There are many settings on Alpines for subs, did you change it to system 2? also the "Q" to 4? When I first got mine I almost returned it within a couple minutes, but after looking at all the settings it sounded way better.
