95legwagon
ok so i set my clamp meter (fluke 333) on the power wire (really close to the amp) and set it on ac amps then connected my DMM to the positive and negative terminals on the amp for the speaker outputs ( set on ac volts) then burped a couple tones where i feel im loudest at ( 35hz and 40hz) and i got: 35 hz: 58 x 15= 870 40hz: 54 x 17=918 now are those my rms numbers? cuz i will shit if i actually managed 918 rms from a xplod amp (bridged @ 4 ohm) i know those looked like pitiful numbers til i multiplied them..... someone shed some light as i almost guarantee i didnt pull no 918 rms from an xplod amp and i dont get the whole box rise calc. you divide the numbers to get box rise? please help me lol im lost btw: just got this clamp meter from someone for basically free.....i hafta work it off but its easy cuz i fix stuff for her ftw i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit.
