Well its official! I just bought 4 Eminence Alpha 12s and 8 Selenium Bullet tweeters. Will be reusing the 8 Alpha 6s I have also. Was going to do 8 6s, 8 8s, 4 12s, and 8 tweets, but its just too much money.

Instead of all 100.2s, Ill be running a 100.4 on the 8 6s, a 100.4 bridged on the 4 12s, and a 100.2 on the 8 Bullets.

Each Alpha 6 will be seeing about 50-60rms.

no offence but in no way is this goin to be SQ.

how are u planning to control all these guys? active or passive?

wat deck? time alignment? your system will get hell of loud on highs and mids and if u have a bunch of subs behind, this will be one hell of a good ground pounder.

, but for SQ, nahhh, its just gonna be hell of noisy.

if u want me to drool, tell me u bought some Focal Bes, Morel Supremos or other high end stuff. for SQ, i bet a simple 2 way active setup will sound wayy nicer then so many drivers. remmeber, in SQ, more doesnt mean better. more drivers means more stuff to tune.

I dont necessarily like the whole "my highs drown out your bass" setups. But this thing is gonna get loud as hell.

i think it will just give you a headache, those speakers dont look all that impressive but i havnt heard them so i cant say they are. the tweets look alright, and whats up with a pa sub/speaker? IMO waste of money, like headshok said get a pair of nice focal speakers and you will set. getting everything to be perfect in this setup will be hell. might i ask, why are you doing this?

another thing you all fail to realise, gmonk most likely isnt going to be tuning anything at all, it will be whatever installer he chooses headache to deal with.
